This course is only 16 weeks, one day a week on Saturday starting at 8:AM to 1:PM and Thursday 5:PM to 9:PM.  Pharmacy Technician is a health Care Professional who work under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Some of their duties include assisting with filling of prescriptions, preparing and distributing medications, compounding and mixing drugs, labeling prescription bottles and containers, ordering, stocking and maintaining the inventory of medications and other supplies. Pharmacy Technicians work in retail pharmacies, hospitals and other medical facilities. Cost is $1200.00. deposit is $300.00. This includes books, handout materials, instructions and Pharmacy TechnicianCertifcation Examination (PTCE) preparation. There is also a monetary incentive. If student obtain a class GPA of 90% or higher and make a 90% or higher on the certification preparation exam, the school will pay for the PTCE, which is a $129.00.
