Electrocardiogram Technician Class (E.K.G)
This program prepares the students to perform electrocardiogram tests on patients. Students acquire an understanding of the terminology needed to understand the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system; its function, diseases and disorders. These students receive 80 hours of training where they are taught to obtain physician respected EKG's. Additional 20 hours of clinical training. After completing course, students will be eligible to be Certified through NATIONAL HEALTH CAREER ASSOCIATION.
This class is offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 9pm. This is a 12 week course and students will have to purchase a textbook.
